Pathetic. I was going to start blogging, blogging, blogging away… and how well did I do? I blogged…once. Since March! Terrible.

But today is a new day! Did you all hear that I am in training for the Turkey Trot? My dear friend Miss Anne told me that she recently read an article that states that excercize actually helps to build new brain cells–boy could I use those! I have decided that all my new brain cells will be my blogging brain cells–see how much you all mean to me? I am saving all those fresh, new brain cells just for you! 

Now this is a knitting website, so it wouldn’t be right for me not to at least talk a little about knitting, so I will share with you what I am wearing to the Turkey Trot…

…a newly-knitted…Turkey Hat!!!

That’s right, I actually knit myself a hat that looks just like the bird that will be on your Thanksgiving table, complete with a pair of drummies sticking out the sides!

Grandma Helen borrowed the hat yesterday to wear to the nursing home, and I have already heard through the grapevine that she was the talk of the bar at the Eden Legion Post!
